Started by renowned shooter Bob Allen, the company began with his innovative design of a long-billed cap to help keep sun out of bomber crews’ eyes during long flights over Japan.
The reputation of Bob Allen Company was soon cemented when Bob opened the first retail store on the grounds of the Grand American Trapshoot and designed the first shooting vest and camouflage pattern.
