Identity Verification on WeaponDepot

For FFL-required firearm orders, WeaponDepot's current checkout policy requires a signed-in buyer whose marketplace identity verification has been approved through Persona before payment. This is a marketplace checkout requirement, not a federal requirement to use Persona. If the provider is unavailable or not configured, an unverified buyer cannot complete firearm checkout.

Transfer at your receiving FFL

Select a receiving FFL dealer and confirm its transfer policy. Firearms are sent to the receiving FFL, not directly to the buyer. At pickup, the dealer handles applicable identity documentation, ATF Form 4473, background checks, and other legal transfer requirements before release. Marketplace approval does not replace these checks.

Marketplace verification

Sign in and follow the verification prompt during FFL-required checkout. Approval may take time; a submitted inquiry alone does not authorize payment. Persona is used for marketplace identity verification and is not the dealer's background check.
