WeaponDepot Partner & Creator Program

How brands, sellers, and FFLs connect with creators for live stream partnerships. Understand fees, payouts, and how to grow through creator collaborations.

How the Partner Program Works

The WeaponDepot Partner Program connects brands, sellers, and FFL dealers with content creators who run live streams on the platform. Creators drive viewership, engagement, and sales through their live shows. When a brand, seller, or FFL partners with a creator, they negotiate a payment amount for the creator's promotional services — such as featuring products during a live stream, providing product demonstrations, or co-hosting a selling event. The Creator Portal at /creator-portal is the central hub where all parties discover each other, propose partnerships, and manage active collaborations.

Who Can Participate

Any registered brand, seller, or FFL dealer on WeaponDepot can use the Partner Program to connect with creators. Brands use the program to get their products showcased by popular streamers. Sellers use it to drive traffic and sales during live events. FFL dealers use it to increase their visibility and connect with creators in their region for local promotions. Creators are verified content producers with active channels on WeaponDepot who run regular live streams. To become a creator, apply through the Creator Portal or contact hello@weapondepot.com.

Partnership Fees and Revenue Model

When a brand, seller, or FFL creates a partnership with a creator, they agree on a payment amount for the creator's services. WeaponDepot charges a 10% platform fee on all creator partnership payments. For example, if a brand agrees to pay a creator $1,000 for a live stream feature, WeaponDepot's fee is $100, and the creator receives $900. This fee covers platform facilitation, payment processing, partnership management tools, and dispute resolution. The 10% fee is automatically calculated and displayed when creating a partnership so there are no surprises. All partnership payments are tracked in the Creator Portal dashboard with full transparency for both parties.

Creating a Partnership

To start a partnership, navigate to the Creator Portal. Browse available creators by category, follower count, or streaming frequency. When you find a creator you want to work with, click 'Request Partnership' and fill in the details: the payment amount you are offering, a description of what you need (product showcase, co-hosted stream, brand mention, etc.), and optionally link to a specific stream. The creator receives a notification and can accept, decline, or negotiate. Once accepted, the partnership status changes to 'active' and both parties can coordinate through the platform messaging system.

Making Payments to Creators

After a partnership is completed (the creator has fulfilled their agreed deliverables), the brand, seller, or FFL marks the partnership as ready for payment through the Creator Portal. The payment is processed through WeaponDepot's secure payment system. The platform fee (10%) is deducted automatically, and the remaining amount is transferred to the creator. Both parties receive email confirmation of the payment. Payment history and invoices are available in the Creator Portal dashboard for record-keeping and tax purposes.

Marketplace Transaction Fees

In addition to the creator partnership fee, WeaponDepot charges a 2.5% platform fee on all marketplace transactions (item sales). This fee is billed to sellers monthly based on their total sales volume. Buyers pay sellers directly for all goods. At the end of each billing cycle, WeaponDepot generates an automated invoice for each seller reflecting their 2.5% fee on total sales. This model keeps transaction costs low and transparent. The fee structure is detailed on the Fees page at /fees.
