Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create a listing?
Navigate to the Sell page from the main menu. Fill in the required details about your item, including photos, description, condition, and price. Choose between a fixed-price listing or an auction format. You can also use our AI listing generator to create optimized listings. Review your listing and submit it for publication.
How do firearm transfers work?
All firearm purchases must be transferred through a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). Use our FFL Dealer Finder to locate a dealer near you. After completing a purchase, the buyer must provide their preferred FFL dealer's information. The seller ships the firearm to the designated FFL, where the buyer completes the required background check and paperwork. Read our FFL Transfer Process guide for more details.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers through our secure payment processing system. All payments are processed securely and funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the item. See our Fees page for transaction fee details.
How do auctions work?
Sellers can list items as auctions with a starting bid and optional reserve price. Bidders place bids during the auction period. The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins the item. Bid increments are automatically calculated based on the current bid amount. You can also bid on items during live stream auctions.
What is the return policy?
Return policies are set by individual sellers and must be clearly stated in each listing. WeaponDepot.com facilitates dispute resolution between buyers and sellers. Items must be returned in the same condition as received. Firearm returns must also be processed through an FFL dealer. See our Refund & Returns policy for more information.
How do I become a verified dealer?
FFL dealers can apply for verified dealer status by submitting their FFL documentation through the dealer registration process. Once verified, dealers receive a verified badge on their profile and access to additional selling tools and features. Learn more about starting a store on WeaponDepot.
