Step-by-step walkthrough of the checkout process including payment, FFL selection, and order tracking.
The Checkout Flow
When you are ready to purchase, add items to your cart and proceed to checkout. The checkout process guides you through four steps: reviewing your cart, selecting your FFL dealer (for firearms), choosing your payment method, and confirming your order. You can purchase from multiple sellers in a single checkout session. Each seller's items are grouped separately for shipping and order tracking. Review each seller's shipping policy and estimated delivery time before confirming your order. The total cost including item price, shipping, any applicable taxes, and fees is displayed before you confirm payment.
Payment Options
WeaponDepot supports several payment methods to accommodate different buyer preferences. Credit and debit cards are accepted through the platform's secure, SSL-encrypted checkout. Bank transfers are available for buyers who prefer not to use cards. Some sellers also accept escrow payments through integrated escrow services, which hold funds securely until the buyer confirms receipt of the item. All payments are processed securely, and your financial information is never shared with sellers. If a transaction does not go as expected, WeaponDepot's buyer protection program provides recourse for resolving disputes.
Order Tracking and Confirmation
After completing checkout, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order details and estimated delivery timeline. Track your orders through the Orders section of your account dashboard. Sellers are required to provide tracking information once the item ships. For firearm orders, the tracking will show delivery to your selected FFL dealer. For non-firearm orders, tracking shows delivery to your shipping address. Once you receive your item, inspect it carefully and confirm receipt through the platform. Confirming receipt releases payment to the seller and allows you to leave feedback on the transaction.
