What Are Pricing Reports?
Pricing Reports provide data-driven insights into the market value of firearms and accessories sold on WeaponDepot. Reports show average selling prices by manufacturer and model over the past 12 months, including price distribution charts that show the range of prices items have sold for. This information helps you understand what constitutes a fair price for a specific item and make informed purchasing decisions. Pricing Reports are available for categories with sufficient sales data to produce meaningful statistics.
Using Pricing Data
Access Pricing Reports from the Market Data page. Search for a specific manufacturer and model to see its pricing history. The report includes the average sale price, median price, lowest and highest sale prices, the number of items sold in the period, and a price distribution chart. Use this data to evaluate whether a listing is priced fairly, to set a maximum bid for auctions, and to identify trends in market pricing. If an item is consistently selling for less than the listed price on a specific listing, you may have leverage to negotiate a better deal through the Make Offer feature.
