About RCBS Reloading & Ammunitions
RCBS is a long-established company that has been providing quality varmint bullets since 1943. Founded by Fred T. Huntington in Oroville, California, he began crafting his own dies to swage .22 rimfire cartridge cases for bullets. The name RCBS stands for Rock Chuck Bullet Swage dies, and the business quickly outgrew its humble beginnings in the back of a laundromat as more and more expansions occurred over the years. In July 1976, Omark Industries purchased RCBS before it became part of ATK in 2001 and then Vista Outdoor Inc. today in 2015. While they no longer manufacture bullet-swaging dies they are now one of the leading manufacturers of ammunition reloading equipment worldwide for rifles and pistols.
