Restrictions on Knife Orders

Federal Law prohibits interstate commerce sale and shipment of switchblades, out the front(OTF) knives, and other automatic opening knives (known as “Automatic Knives“).

What is considered an “Automatic Knife”?
– Automatic Knives are knives that open with hand pressure applied to a button or other device in the handle of said knife, or by operation of inertia, gravity or both.
– A knife that contains a spring, detent or other mechanism designed to create bias toward closure of the blade and that requires exertion applied to the blade by hand,
wrist, or arm to overcome the bias towards closure to assist in opening the knife, are not considered an Automatic Knife.

Exceptions to Knife Ordering Restrictions:

Automatic Knives may only be sold:

• To supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard, or militia of a State ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such organizations.
• To supply or procurement officers or employees on any State, or any political subdivision of a State or Territory, ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such government.
• To civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government
• To manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant to an order from any person designated in the preceding Subparagraphs.

  • A folding or telescoping stock.
  • A pistol grip or a thumbhole stock.

  • A flash suppressor.
  • A granade launcher or flame thrower.
  • A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has an overall length of less than 3o inches.
• No semi-auto shotguns are to be sold to residents of Delaware with the following characteristics:
  • Possesses a detachable magazine. Possesses both a pistol grip and folding or telescopic stock.
  • Possesses a revolving cylinder.
• No semi-automatic pistol with a fixed magazine that can accept more than 17 rounds.
• No semi-automatic rifle with a fixed magazine that can accept more than 17 rounds.
• No magazines with a capacity over 17 rounds.
• No Semi-automatic pistol that has a detachable magazine and has any of the following features:
  • An ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip.
  • A threaded barrel.
  • A shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel except a slide.

Ballot Measure 114 bans the sale, transfer, or importation of magazines that can hold more than ten rounds of ammunition. Possession of such magazines remains legal, with some restrictions. Due to litigation the new law is not currently in effect.

Buying a Firearm Online is Easy!

Add your selected firearm(s) to your shopping cart and check out.

Select a local Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) Dealer that will accept the firearm and complete the transfer. Find a FFL Dealer HERE.

Your FFL Dealer will be required to fax or email us a signed copy of the Federal Firearms License referencing your Apocalypse Outfitters order number. The license can be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to (727) 674-1616

Pick up your firearm from the FFL Dealer, who will need to do a background check. Transfer fees may apply.

Buying Firearms on the Internet

Federal law requires firearms to be shipped to FFL Dealers. For an individual to receive a firearm from Apocalypse Outfitters it must be shipped to an FFL Dealer in your state.

Locating a Federal-Firearm License Dealer (FFL) in Your Area

There are thousands of FFL Dealers in the United States. You may choose an FFL Dealer most convenient to you and your area. To find a list of FFL Dealers in your area area CLICK HERE. The FFL Dealer will be required to submit a copy of the Federal Firearms License referencing your Apocalypse Outfitters order number. A copy of the license can be sent to [email protected] or faxed to (727) 674-1616.  YOUR ORDER WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL THIS INFO IS VERIFIED. The FFL Dealer will usually charge a fee to conduct the transfer. There are duties that the FFL Dealer is required to do during the process which include a background check. Remember, the FFL Dealer is doing you a favor and the process takes time to complete. Fees can vary so check with the FFL Dealer ahead of time to request a quote on the fees associated with your firearm transfer. The FFL Dealer is in business to make a profit and your internet purchase may be viewed as competition to their retail business. If you feel the fees are too high, you can search for another FFL Dealer.

Completing the Transaction

Once you place the firearm in your cart and checkout you will receive a confirmation email that has your order number and further instructions.  Most orders are processed within 2-3 business days from the time we receive and verify the FFL Dealers information. Once shipped, your firearm will arrive at the FFL Dealer within 3-7 days business days. The FFL Dealer will begin processing the shipment. It may be an additional day or so before the FFL Dealer is ready to conduct the transfer of the firearm to you. Call the FFL Dealer and set an appointment to confirm that the firearm is ready to be transferred.

Nether Apocalypse Outfitters nor its parent company SAS Outfitters LLC offer any type of warranty.  YOU are responsible for inspecting the firearm before the FFL makes the transfer.  Once the transfer has been completed, you must reach out to the manufacturer.  WE WILL NOT accept any returns from firearms that have been already transferred to you.  

All new firearms come with a manufacturer warranty.  All defects and malfunctions should be directed to the manufacturer of the firearm.  Additionally Some of our firearms are covered by our distributors "Lifetime Replacement Guarantee".  If your firearm is covered under this Guarantee, it will be indicated on your receipt and the appropriate instructions and paperwork will be furnished with your firearm when it ships.

Cancellation & Order Change Fees

We invest time and money to prepare every order that is placed on our site, even before the order ships. After you have placed your order online, or over the phone with a sales associate, you will be charged a 10% restocking fee if you decide to cancel your order or substitute products. Adding items to an existing order will not incur any additional fee. By placing an order or making a phone order with a sales associate you agree to pay this 10% restocking fee should you cancel or change your order. Our business is not set up to change orders easily. We apologize for having to implement these changes, but change was made in order to keep our prices low for our customers.

Online Price & Description Errors

Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the items description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions or pictures on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer’s credit card or we will return the money. If an items description contains an error such as incorrect price and a customer orders one, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. Cancellation & Order Change Fees

We invest time and money to prepare every order that is placed on our site, even before the order ships. After you have placed your order online, or over the phone with a sales associate, you will be charged a 10% restocking fee if you decide to cancel your order or substitute products. Adding items to an existing order will not incur any additional fee. By placing an order or making a phone order with a sales associate you agree to pay this 10% restocking fee should you cancel or change your order. Our business is not set up to change orders easily. We apologize for having to implement these changes, but change was made in order to keep our prices low for our customers.

Online Price & Description Errors

Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the items description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions or pictures on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer’s credit card or we will return the money. If an items description contains an error such as incorrect price and a customer orders one, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will not bill the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that Apocalypse Outfitters will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.
